Overview
The Manager Rate Systems and Onboarding is part of SCS Operations team and is the subject matter expert in the TMS rate engine. This role is responsible for translating commercial agreements into the rate engine and ensuring rates are maintained and drive efficient operational processes. This role also has responsibilities with new business onboarding, carrier integration, data analytics, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
TMS rating engine SME
- design and maintain an effective multi-mode transportation rate management strategy
- collaborate with Yusen IT and external software partner(s) to understand high level and detailed TMS rating engine capabilities
- work with pricing, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure new or updated rate agreements are properly translated into system rate strategy and inputted into the system accordingly.
- ensure rates are entered timely, accurately, and in a manner that enables system driven AP / AR financial estimate calculations
