Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and safety-conscious Lead Customer Service Agents to join our team in Bethel, AK. This role involves the safe and efficient handling of the check-in, bookings, and coordination of passengers, freight, and mail for our airline. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment. Travel may be required to Aniak and St. Mary's stations as needed and provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of Customer Service area.
- Working directly with customers and employees
- Communicate effectively with pilots and crew to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep the Customer Service and terminal areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Dispose of trash and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations around the terminal.
- Adhere to all company and FAA/DOT safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Work directly with station manager
- Potential for advancement to other leadership positions based on performance and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must be able to pass a DOT background check
- Report equipment problems and breakdowns to facilitate fast repairs
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to potentially work outdoors in varying extreme weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime, travel to out stations.
- Prior experience in a similar role or aviation industry is a plus but not required.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills.
