Job Summary:
YWCA Mankato is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Adult and Youth Programs Manager to lead and manage our community-focused programs. This position involves overseeing the development, coordination, and growth of our Adult and Youth programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and meet community needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, partnership development, budget oversight, volunteer management, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Strategic Planning
- Lead the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives for Adult and Youth programs.
- Manage and strengthen partnerships with community stakeholders to expand program reach and impact.
- Coordinate events and ensure successful execution, including securing resources and facilities.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Budget & Financial Management
- Oversee program budgets, tracking income and expenses, and ensuring financial activities align with budget goals.
- Collaborate with the Development Manager on grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure program funding.
Volunteer & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for both Youth and Adult programs.
- Supervise and support the Program Coordinator(s) to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
- Provide ongoing training for volunteers and staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Marketing & Communications
- Partner with the development team to raise awareness and promote programs within the community.
- Create marketing materials, including social media posts, flyers, and promotional content.
- Manage program registration and maintain communication with participants.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Regularly report program outcomes, challenges, and successes to the Executive Director and stakeholders.
- Participate in Advisory Committee meetings to update and gather feedback on programs.
Other Duties
- Assist with other YWCA programs and events as needed.
- Support office operations as required.
Qualifications:
General Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, budget management, and partnership building.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management tools.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license, working motor vehicle, and proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in youth development, adult education, or community programming.
- Experience with grant writing and fundraising.
- Knowledge of local youth-serving organizations and networks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $59,987.20 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
