The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is hiring a full-time Maintenance Team Lead. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all YWCA buildings and grounds. You'll ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our facilities, managing daily building maintenance, grounds care, and coordinating repairs or improvements as needed. Your work will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

- Hours: 37.5 hour work week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm; some on-call as needed.
- Salary: $39,000/yr.
- Monitor repairs and maintenance of building equipment and systems, including but not limited to: HVAC, water, electric, emergency generators, fire alarms, etc.
- Review facilities to ensure they meet all building codes and standards and securing all facility-related permits, licenses, and inspections.
- Assist with contractor quotes as directed.
- Ensure YWCA facilities and equipment provide a quality, safe environment.
- Complete work orders for routine maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate and monitor regular inspections of the facility (including fire alarms, safety equipment, elevators, etc.) to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and compliance checks.
- Coordinate and conduct landscaping and groundskeeping activities, including lawn care, snow removal, and trash disposal, to ensure that the exterior of the building is well-maintained year-round.
- Ensure proper maintenance of outdoor equipment and fixtures (e.g., parking lots, signage, lighting).
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and grounds maintenance.
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance standards (OSHA, ADA, fire codes, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driver’s history.
- Must be able to provide Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI clearances.
