Electronics Technician

Position:

Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing manufacturer of electronic assemblies are adding two Electronics Technicians to our manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot and repair of complex electronic circuit board assemblies during the manufacturing process.

· Must be able to read and understand schematics.

· Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.

Requirements:

· US Citizenship (we do some government work)

· 3 months to 1 year minimum in electronics related position.

· Strong electrical aptitude.

· AAS in an Electronics discipline preferred.

· Ability to solder surface mount and through hole components, with IPC-610 and J-Standard experience a plus.

Z-AXIS Inc. provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include LED drivers, sensing and measurement devices, laser drivers, machine controls, and electronic medical devices. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand. We are centrally located between Rochester and Syracuse in upstate NY. We own our modern 32,000-square-foot design and manufacturing center and we are ISO9001:2015 certified. Z-AXIS has over 90 employees working in a single shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
