As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients receive outstanding care from their first interaction to their final treatment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and ensure timely, efficient treatment.
- Provide financial counseling, assisting patients with insurance verification and payment options.
- Assist with administrative duties including managing patient records, data entry, and processing insurance claims.
- Foster a welcoming environment for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
- Lead and oversee projects aimed at improving patient care processes, including patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Proactively address patient complaints and provide solutions to improve their experience.
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support the practice in meeting business goals by enhancing patient care and office efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Maintain and update organizational systems, ensuring accurate patient information is always available.
- Continuously work towards improving office processes and patient care workflows.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in patient care coordination or similar roles.
- Project management experience, with a focus on process improvement and driving patient care initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of healthcare software and systems is a plus.
- Dental office management experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment skills.
