About the Role
As an Architect/Architectural Designer at Z Modular, you will play a key role in shaping the future of multi-family construction through innovative modular projects. This position requires extensive experience in architectural design, a deep understanding of building systems and codes, and proficiency in BIM software such as REVIT and AutoCAD. You will lead the development of design and technical documentation, ensuring that projects meet all relevant building codes and construction standards. You will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution. This is an on-site role located in Chandler, AZ.
This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, and enjoys fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Leads the development of design and shop drawing documentation using REVIT, AutoCAD, and related BIM software.
- Directs a team of architectural designers and drafters in producing detailed documentation.
- Develops technical details with a strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
- Collaborates with manufacturing and site teams to ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility, and weatherproofing requirements.
- Fosters a collaborative team environment to ensure project success.
- Works under the direction of the Director of Architecture Design.
- 10 years of relevant experience in an architectural role, CAD Technician, or Job Captain capacity.
- Proficiency in mid-range REVIT.
- Architectural licensure preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Knowledge of CAD/BIM best practices and a commitment to staying updated on software advancements.
