Purpose of This Job :

Streamline all ZABS Place marketing efforts that support our dual mission : operating a successful upscale thrift boutique while creating meaningful employment opportunities for young adults with special talents.

Desired Measurable Results :

Sales Growth : Achieve a 20% increase in sales year-over-year.
New Customers : Increase first-time customers by 15% within the next quarter.
Loyalty : Boost the repeat customer rate by 15% annually.
Donation Drives : Elevate targeted quality merchandise donations by 15% year-over-year.
Social Media Engagement : Grow social media engagement by 25% over the next quarter.

Key Responsibilities :

Create storytelling opportunities and tactics to showcase our ZABS Talent success as well as Employer Stories who have hired our ZABS Place graduates to inspire additional Employer partnerships.

Develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive new customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

Creatively Promote the Z Points Customer Loyalty program to increase repeat customer loyalty.

Manage content across multiple social media platforms for brand storytelling.

Optimize ZABS Place website and Public Listings for SEO and user experience.

Create targeted email marketing campaigns for customers, donors and employers.

Oversee donation drives for ZABS Place’s wish list for high-quality donations.

Secure media coverage with local bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.

Monitor and report on marketing metrics, adjusting strategies based on performance.

Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $30.00 / hour.

About ZABS Place : ZABS Place is an upscale thrift boutique & employment training center for young adults with special needs run by the Friendship Circle of Charlotte. We have chosen a resale shop as our employment medium because it mirrors our goal of revealing hidden potential. We’re a customer-centric atmosphere with a diverse assortment of quality resale merchandise and one-of-a-kind creations, made by local young adults with special needs, all at thrift shop prices. Our product lines include : clothing, furniture, books, and home décor. Located in the heart of downtown Matthews, at 100 N. Trade St., we are in an area with easy access to public transportation and heavy foot traffic. Our store layout is both handicap-accessible and visually warm and inviting to create a warm and friendly environment. ZABS Place also serves as a stepping stone to future employment opportunities at community businesses, utilizing skills developed and honed during employment with us.
