Director, Project Management

Piper Companies is looking for a Director, Project Management join a commercial and federal systems integrator. This is a full-time position and onsite twice a week in Glen Burnie, MD.

Essential Duties of the Director, Project Management:

• Oversee 8 Project Managers who are overseeing low-voltage projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of projects. Be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of the project portfolio through leading/managing a team of Project Managers.
• Review the team’s delivery of scope and schedule on an ongoing basis to ensure outstanding delivery while balancing the required budgeted profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, OEMs, distribution, and other industry stakeholders.

Qualifications of the Director, Project Management:

• 8 years of audio visual (AV) and low-voltage experience.
• 4 years of experience managing a team of Project Managers.
• Strong background managing low-voltage projects.
• PMP Certification preferred

Compensation for the Director, Project Management:

• $145,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)
• 20% bonus eligibility
• 3 remote days per week
