IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager

Piper Enterprise Solutions is looking for an IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager who's experienced in client-side contract negotiations to spearhead cost-saving efforts and enhance procurement strategies. This is a hybrid role located in Columbia, MD.

Requirements of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:

• Lead negotiations on client-side contracts to achieve cost reductions and secure favorable terms.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to uncover cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
• Formulate and execute negotiation strategies that align with client needs and organizational goals.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and assess contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
• Provide insights and training to internal teams on best practices in negotiation and cost-saving strategies.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry benchmarks, and legal developments affecting contract negotiations.

Qualifications of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:

• 7 years of experience in contract negotiations, procurement, or cost management, with a focus on client-side operations.
• In-depth understanding of contract law, financial analysis, and negotiation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated success in achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Certification in contract management or negotiation (e.g., Certified Professional Contract Manager) is preferred.
• Experience in IT-intensive environments or Healthcare IT, and proficiency in contract management lifecycle is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Compensation of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:

• Salary range: $115,000-$135,000 *based on experience*
