Piper Companies is seeking a Regional Sales Director to join a financial services organization based in Canada . The Regional Sales Director will report to the Head of North America Sales and will be responsible for selling our market-leading enterprise SaaS solutions to financial institutions in Canada.
Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Director include :
- Drive and develop opportunities from lead generation through to closing opportunities.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Identify the needs and wants of potential customers.
- Demonstrate software value in person or virtually.
- Handle objections from potential sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present quotations / proposals to sales opportunities.
- Negotiate and close sales.
- Maximize client value on all potential sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients over the phone or in person.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances, and networks within the industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads.
- Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time.
