Job Summary :
Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Configuration Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a hybrid basis in Fairfax, VA . The Configuration Management SME will lead the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of a detailed configuration management plan. The ideal candidate will manage configuration management tools and processes across development, testing, and production environments.
Responsibilities of the Configuration Management SME :
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive configuration management plan.
- Administer and maintain configuration management tools and processes across development, test, and production environments.
- Support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of program products.
- Balance technical implementation of configuration management tools with process requirements and resource coordination.
- Synthesize processes that span teams, coordinating inputs and outputs to capitalize on efficiencies.
- Ensure compatibility between component versions and manage configuration of cloud-based environments using infrastructure as code and open-source technologies.
