What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Chemist position at Zachary Piper LLC?
Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Quality Control Chemist in West Point, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Chemist include:
- Utilize skills with HPLC, ICP, MALS, IR, UV-VIS and more to assist in the production and development of pharmaceutical products
- Conduct Chemistry testing of reagents, raw materials, and finished products
- Support process Improvement projects such as standardization of test methods and the execution of test methods as well as assay validation/ qualification
- Perform OOS/ Deviation investigations and carry out experiments in support of these investigations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and procedures
Qualifications for the Quality Control Chemist include:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the development or manufacturing of pharmaceutical products
- Hands on experince with Chemistry techniques
- Technical writing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field
Compensation for the Quality Control Chemist include:
- Salary Range is $75,000 – $85,000 dependent upon experience
