JOB PURPOSE
To drive revenue and market share for the hotel by leading and managing the sales and marketing efforts. This involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners, and overseeing a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Experience creating lasting relationships with key clients, generate revenue and ensure the hotel's market leading performance.

Experience developing and executing sales strategies to support revenue objectives of the hotel.
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Proven at hiring, training and developing the sales staff
- Proven knowledge of Revenue Management concepts
- Effective at analyzing sales data, customer feedback, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Able to analysis trends, group pickup, STR report
- Hilton's OnQ experience a plus
- Proficient with Windows Office to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams
- Able to read, speak and write Spanish
- Able to work weekends and holidays with occasional overnight travel required
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred by not required
EXPERIENCE
8 years minimum of hotel sales experience
2 years of management experience
