JOB PURPOSE:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing all assigned financial duties relating to the property, such as month-end closing, general ledger and bank account reconciliation, forecasting, creating and monitoring internal control procedures, and special reports.
- Prepares accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations for all general ledger accounts including bank, intercompany, and credit card accounts. Process corrections required.
- Reports credit card chargeback disputes timely to each agency with proper support.
- Prepares daily revenue calculations for all outlets via point of sales systems into the financial system.
- Participates in month end closing, including JE preparation and direct entry made into the General Ledger system.
- Assist in special projects as requested by the Director of Finance.
- Handles the accounts payable clerks' duties during very busy periods.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong Excel Skills preferred.
- Accounting experience/degree preferred.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent required. Minimum of 4 year college degree preferred. |
