Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to our attorney throughout the litigation process, from lawsuit to judgment. Your responsibilities will include drafting and filing legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, communicating with clients, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and summons and complaints
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Prepare and manage discovery, including organizing responses and producing documents.
• Maintain case management systems, updating case statuses and deadlines regularly.
• Monitor case calendars and ensure that all filings, deadlines, and hearings are met.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team, as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by attorneys and senior paralegals.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a fast-paced legal environment
