Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing daily inventory management processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability, handling inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to maintain smooth operations. Key responsibilities include managing retail and warehouse inventory counts, analyzing reports from ERP to WMS systems, assisting retail stores with shipping discrepancies, and reconciling inventory and invoicing. The role also involves supporting logistics activities.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or operations, a strong background in data analysis (especially with advanced Excel skills), and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. A results-driven, detail-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control
- Oversee daily inventory management processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability across systems.
- Handle the systemic aspects of Retail physical inventory process, reconciling discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
- Handle the systemic aspects of Retail and Warehouse cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
- Generate and analyze warehouse open order report daily to monitor data flows from ERP to WMS ensuring alignment
- Assist retail stores with any shipping related discrepancies
- Generate and analyze the Retail Open Orders report, tracking pending / partial inventory receipts, and collaborate with Retail Operations to mitigate risk.
- Investigate and process inventory adjustments due to theft or store mistakes, ensuring proper loss tracking and reporting.
- Resolve disputed transactions by processing inventory adjustments and collaborating with relevant departments.
- Enhance inventory accuracy and minimize operational disruptions by partnering with warehouse, sales teams, PR and Marketing.
- Collaborate with finance to reconcile goods received and recorded for payment.
- Weekly and monthly reconciliation of domestic and international invoicing
- Assist HQ functions with inquiries and actions related to inventory management
Logistics
- Maintain EDI Customer Master data
- Audit and resolve vendor compliance chargebacks from wholesale customers.
- Assist with logistics activities as needed
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Inventory Control, Operations, or related field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in related field.
- Strong MS-Office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Advanced proficiency with Excel is required and must be able to VLOOKUP and manipulate Pivot Tables.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
- Strong time management and analytical/problem solving skills are required along with a high degree of flexibility.
- A high degree of motivation, ability to take the initiative in a team environment, and assess priorities under pressure.
- Results-driven and process improvement orientation.
Salary : $62,000 - $65,000
