Key Responsibilities
Logistics
- Coordinate and monitor all shipments (air, ocean, and ground) across sales channels, collaborating with vendors from multiple origins, freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL, and consignees, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Develop and maintain shipment tracking systems to provide real-time updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete daily reporting of all shipped shipments across channels - wholesale, retail, e-com
- Issue export documentation and domestic invoices as required.
- Ensure adherence to shipping regulations, routing guides, and company policies for both domestic and international shipments.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and damages by coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
- Enhance transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness by collaborating with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Conduct comprehensive freight cost analysis and negotiate favorable shipping rates to minimize transportation expenses.
- Maintain and update logistics performance reports, tracking key metrics such as SLA, delivery accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Review vendor billing for accuracy.
- Develop proficiency with logistics and other software (Winddle, BI, M3, …), regularly analyzing supply chain lead times and other topics.
- Assist with operations activities as needed.
Customs Compliance
- Review pre-alert documents to prevent customs holds.
- Verify 7501 forms for accuracy and ensure timely duty payments; manage ACH/PMS payments to customs, including filing Post Entry Adjustments.
- Partner with Customs Brokers to resolve issues and ensure timely shipment clearance in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations.
- Manage pre-classification processes and work with U.S. Customs Brokers to identify and resolve potential Quota, F&WL, or tariff issues.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping for Customs compliance.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Support Headquarters with inquiries related to exporting products to North and South America (e.g., FDA, CPSC, FTC, USDA).
Salary : $65,000 - $68,000
