Job Description:
We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our Productivity product category — including Tablet Keyboards, Desktop Keyboards, Mice, Stylus Pens, and Docking/Hub Solutions. This is a senior-level individual contributor role responsible for setting and executing the product vision and roadmap for this category.
You will drive product strategy, gather deep market and customer insights, and partner closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to launch and manage best-in-class B2B productivity solutions. We’re seeking someone with strong business acumen, a passion for innovation, and a strategic yet hands-on approach to product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Product Strategy that aligns with company goals and market needs, incorporating innovation opportunities, competitive differentiation, and feature prioritization.
- Develop and Maintain Roadmaps that clearly communicate vision and priorities while balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation.
- Own the Full Product Lifecycle for the Productivity category — from initial discovery and concept development through launch, in-market performance, and eventual sunset.
- Gather Deep Customer Insights through primary and secondary research, customer visits, partner feedback, and vertical market analysis to inform product decisions.
- Author Clear Product Requirements by translating insights into actionable PRDs and user stories that effectively guide engineering, design, and operations.
- Build Compelling Business Cases for new products and enhancements, articulating value propositions, revenue impact, and ROI to secure executive buy-in.
- Leverage Business Acumen to manage product financials — including pricing, margin optimization, cost control, and category profitability.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with internal teams across engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
- Manage Current Products by monitoring performance, addressing quality issues, implementing cost-saving measures, and keeping offerings competitive and relevant.
- Monitor Product Success using KPIs, customer feedback, and market data to drive iteration and continuous improvement.
- Champion Innovation by exploring trends in workplace technology, hybrid work tools, and evolving B2B needs to fuel the product pipeline.
- Enable and Inspire Sales by acting as the category evangelist, equipping sales teams with compelling tools, training, and messaging to support go-to-market efforts.
- Deliver Executive Presentations that influence leadership through clear communication of strategy, roadmap progress, business impact, and key metrics.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8 years in product management, preferably in technology hardware.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Skills:
- Proven success owning a product category and launching products that delight customers and drive revenue
- Strong understanding of both B2C and B2B go-to-market, vertical markets (e.g., Education, Healthcare, Retail), and the productivity landscape
- Deep business acumen — understands P&L impact, can justify investments, and thinks like a GM
- Strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Excellent communicator — comfortable presenting to executives, collaborating with technical teams, and interfacing with customers
- Proficiency in product management tools and roadmap planning
