Job Summary:
As a Regional Sales and Training Director, you will play a vital role in representing ZAK Products’ fluid maintenance programs within franchise dealerships. Your primary focus will be driving sales growth, delivering impactful training, and developing strong relationships to maximize revenue opportunities. You will work closely with dealership personnel to implement best practices, introduce new products, and optimize service drive processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealership clients within your assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase dealership adoption of ZAK’s programs and products.
- Identify and introduce new product offerings that align with dealership needs, increasing overall account revenue.
- Collaborate with dealership leadership to establish and achieve sales growth targets.
Training & Process Implementation
- Deliver engaging training sessions—both in group settings and one-on-one—to service advisors, technicians, and management on ZAK’s Service Drive Process and Walk-Around Process.
- Educate dealership staff on the value of preventative maintenance and how to effectively communicate it to customers.
- Utilize standardized tools to create maintenance guides and point-of-sale materials for dealerships.
- Support dealerships in optimizing their fluid maintenance equipment and tool programs.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a deep understanding of ZAK Products’ full line of programs and solutions.
- Accurately log all daily activities, account management efforts, and sales opportunities using CRM tools.
- Prepare professional documents and spreadsheets outlining goals, opportunities, visit itineraries, and follow-ups.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new vehicle models, and evolving dealership needs to provide expert guidance.
- Coordinate orders for necessary tools, equipment, and fittings to ensure optimal product application.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum experience of 3–5 years in the Automotive Industry
- Strong ability to develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Proven sales and business development experience, preferably in the automotive or dealership sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence dealership staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, training materials, and goal tracking.
- Ability to interpret sales reports, technical manuals, and scientific data to provide tailored solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective strategies.
- Comfortable working in dealership environments, including exposure to mechanical equipment and vehicles.
- Willingness to travel by car and plane as needed within the assigned territory.
