Role’s mission
Lead the Logistics Team in meeting Zanini goals; achieving the five Zanini principles, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Moral; establishing and developing good relations with both customers and suppliers; and meeting customer expectations.
Responsibility Areas of the Role
(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list)
· Lead a team of 8-10 materials and logistics professionals providing guidance and support
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials for production and successful execution of projects
· Follow OEM’s timing for as it relates to MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics) manufacturing deliverables as well as timing for manufacturing line development and production
· Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients' criteria
· Plant logistics KPIs management and reporting
· Manage customer EDI communications
· Provide customer requirement updates to Scheduling
· Manage databases related to warehouse operations
· Ensure logistics procedures are maintained and followed
· Manage day to day shipping operations, measures performance for on-time, in-full delivery performance, warehouse inventory management, warehousing productivity and quality, and workforce planning requirements
· Investigates cause analysis issues for problem reconciliation and leads corrective action for complaints related to transportation, logistics handling and warehousing of finished products.
· Support ZPS activities
· Support Quality System activities including Problem Solving Workshops and the Quality Committee
· Participate in ZAT Leadership Team activities
· Supervise periodic physical inventories
· Provide information in the form of reports and/or charts to show the performance of the Logistics department
· Assist senior management in gathering information for the plant budget
Advisable Training/Skills:
· Knowledge of supply chain / purchasing techniques and tools
· Competent in Microsoft Office including Excel
· Material planning (MRP, inventory planning)
· Knowledge in follow-up & expediting activities
· Analyzing and interpreting data
· Inventory planning and control
· Warehouse management
· Transportation management
· General-purpose IT tools
· Budgeting & financial essentials
· EDI experience
· Experience in logistics including domestic and overseas customs & transportation
· Experience in logistic department of industrial company (preferably automotive sector)
· Solid understanding of the inventory management process of a manufacturing enterprise and extensive management experience in stock control
· Ability to manage teams and lead several projects at the same time, and to handle pressure and tight deadlines
· Exhibit the ability to relate to individuals at all levels of the organization and maintain professional relationships with outside resources

Technical Competencies
Advisable training/skills:
· University diploma or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Logistics is a plus.

5 years’ experience in logistic department of manufacturing company (preferably automotive sector)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
