The Director of Strategic Programs will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of a $3 Billion dollar eCommerce retailer. The ideal candidate will be a highly resourceful and adaptable individual with a strong background in portfolio, program, and product management. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Developing and managing the strategic program roadmap(s), aligning with the overall business strategy and objectives of tech in support of marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and new business initiatives. Overseeing the implementation of multiple programs and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure programs are executed effectively and efficiently. Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to ensure programs are meeting their goals and driving business results. Providing regular updates and reports to the leadership team on the progress of programs and initiatives. Helping ensure the tech team’s effectiveness to achieve operating profit margins. Leading a team and coaching team members on people management in tech. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent work experience. At least ten (10) years of experience in program and product management, with a focus on eCommerce. Management of large-scale programs/projects that impact millions of customers. Experience as a leadership team or an extended leadership team member of a tech org. with responsibilities for large teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances. WHAT REALLY EXCITES US: Strong portfolio, program, and product management skills. Advanced proficiency with Excel and other analytical tools Headcount tracking, management, and optimization.
