Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Champion Co-worker Relations: Develop and implement programs that enhance employee relations and create a family-friendly organizational culture.

• Policy Leadership: Formulate, interpret, and recommend policies and objectives aligned with organizational goals.

• Talent Management: Lead staffing and recruitment efforts, ensuring best practices for hiring and retention while meeting the organization's strategic needs.

• Employee Development: Supervise training programs and educational initiatives to enhance productivity across all levels of the organization.

• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve workplace issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and working condition concerns, while providing actionable recommendations.

• Budget Management: Oversee the HR departments operating budget, ensuring compliance with allocated resources.

• Performance Management: Review and guide evaluations, recommend personnel actions, and drive onboarding initiatives to create a seamless new-hire experience.

• Leadership Training: Provide directors and managers with training and communication on HR policies and practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in co-worker relations, human resources management, or a similar leadership role.

• Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and personnel administration.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.

• Strong experience within a union healthcare environment is highly preferred

• Experience in budget preparation and departmental resource management is a plus.
