Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Glazier/Glass Installer to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality installation services and customer support, interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings, and maintaining a well-stocked inventory of equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, be familiar with local/national codes, and possess strong technical skills.
Responsibilities: - Provide reliable, high-quality customer support and consultation while on the job site.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and additions for glass shower doors, enclosures, railings, mirrors, countertops, and other projects.
- Be willing to instruct and mentor junior glaziers on proper methods to assist in the installation process.
- Install metal framework and hardware.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory with the warehouse team.
- Organize and utilize technical resources, materials, and support for efficient task execution.
- Call and work with homeowners and contractors to confirm appointments and installations.
- Monitor and ensure progress and completion of tasks.
- Complete and submit all task-related activities, productivity, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be meticulous, maintain a positive attitude and complete other projects, as assigned.

- Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands, reach, push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
- Must have good vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth, color).
- Ability to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs.
- Able to travel at short notice and drive for extended periods.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Specific product certifications/licenses as required by national, state, and local codes.
- 25% to 50% proficiency in product offerings.
- Vocational/Technical degree in a relevant field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in construction or custom glass, metal framework, and hardware industry is a plus.
- Experience with commercial installation services
- Required Qualifications:
- English required; Spanish highly preferred.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of glass installation equipment and all grades of glass.
- Familiarity with local/national codes.
- Ability to read and install according to drawings/instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a pre-employment screening.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to always be learning.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5), but potential for flexible hours for the right person.
- Basic understanding of math and fractions.
