Our company is growing and we are looking for a Dispatcher with experience in the field. A motivated individual that is interested in career advancement. Below are the main responsibilities for the position:
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers on a daily basis to book freight.
- Answer Telephones.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers.
- Collaborate with management to modify daily deliveries to accomodate the needs of customers.
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work to estabolish new routes in a timely fashion.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes the occasional evening, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a team enviornment in high pressure situations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Prior operations within the trucking industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
