The Securitized Products Technology Group (SPG) is responsible for support and enhancements of the company's core applications that help traders manage positions and trades, calculate P&L, assess bond valuations, and determine risks.

This position is for a role in the technology team that primarily supports the Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) trading desk within SPG Credit.

We are looking for a creative and knowledgeable primarily Back end developer with a particular interest in working with diverse and complex datasets to help the team build and maintain data transformation and web applications. Those applications provide the trading desk and other business users including external clients with critical market and product data insights, helping support business and trading decisions.

The ability to analyze and understand complex business/market data sets is particularly important given the complexity and diversity of our products.

To support these responsibilities:

• SPG team members must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SPG team members must be able to work collaboratively with other senior developers but also independently and with minimal supervision
• As Developers, SPG team members must have a strong sense of dedication and willingness to take ownership of problems and issues

Skills Desired:

• • Java (Spring Boot framework) web application design
  • Relational databases and SQL (experience with OLAP a plus)
  • Knowledge of financial products, particularly fixed income a major plus
  • Scripting skills (Python, Perl), web UI and Scala experience are all desirable
