What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-12 Learning Support Associate position at Zen Educate?
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting K-12 special education students in a part-time, flexible schedule. This includes:
- Assisting licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Working individually or in small groups to support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs.
- Helping maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Providing timely support to students in crisis situations.
- Utilizing various learning methods to tailor support to each student's needs.
You will enjoy a competitive hourly rate ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. Additionally, you will receive paid sick leave, 401K eligibility, and one year of paraprofessional training provided.
