Teaching Aides Job Description
We are seeking short-term, long-term, part-time, and full-time Teaching Aides to support K-12 students in Orange County.
In this role, you will work closely with classroom teachers to reinforce instructional material and make a meaningful impact on students' development.
This opportunity comes with a competitive hourly rate between $19 - $22 per hour, paid weekly. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours of 7/7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm. Total weekly hours are typically 25-35.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in supporting student learning.
- Work with individual and/or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material.
- Compile classroom communications and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Utilize various learning methods to enhance student experiences and provide support as needed.
- Provide personal care or hygiene assistance as required, including toileting.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time)
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Experience with personal care, specifically toileting
Preferred Qualifications:
- ParaPro Certification or similar
- Past work experience in a school
- CPI Training
