Teaching Aide

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Aides for the 2024-2025 school year.

As a Teaching Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher by working with individuals and small groups to reinforce instructional material.

This is an excellent opportunity to positively impact the lives of children in special education and contribute to their development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in creating a conducive learning environment.
• Work with individual and/or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material, utilizing various learning methods to enhance student experiences.
• Compile classroom communications and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Provide support with personal care or hygiene as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time)
• Professional proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Experience working with personal care
• ParaPro Certification or similar
• Past work experience in a school
• CPI Training

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students. They will also be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.
