Duties
Provide Nurturing Care and Safety : Create a nurturing and safe environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilize Provided Curriculum : Utilize the curriculum and classroom resources already in place to enhance learning experiences for toddlers.
Lead Engaging Activities : Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and exploration.
Collaborate with Supportive Staff : Work alongside friendly and supportive staff members who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
Requirements
Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment.
Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting
Knowledge of Infant care and childhood development
Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
Familiarity with education strategies and accommodations
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment
