Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing appointments, handling transactions, and supporting the salon's daily operations.
Responsibilities
Client Interaction
- Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle walk-ins and assist with client inquiries.
- Assist clients in selecting the right services or packages based on their preferences.
- Promote and provide accurate information about salon spa services, pricing, and promotions.
- Handle client feedback or complaints with professionalism and escalate as needed.
Appointment and Scheduling
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the booking system.
- Communicate appointment schedules and client needs to nail technicians and other staff.
Sales and Payments
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other methods.
- Assist in upselling salon products and services to enhance client experience and boost sales.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain client records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor inventory for front desk supplies and salon products, and notify management of restocking needs.
Salon Coordination
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Support salon staff by supervising waiting areas and assisting with client inquiries.
- Support the salon team during busy periods with administrative assistance.
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in scheduling software or willing to learn quickly
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Exemplary professionalism in appearance and demeanor is required to represent our brand's image effectively.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
