Marketing & Brand Manager

Job Summary:

Zena Forest Products is a family-owned and values driven forest, sawmill and millwork company that works to support and restore the forests of Oregon. In support of this mission, we manufacture and sell hardwood flooring and related products from native Oregon trees.

The Marketing and Brand Manager will be responsible for creating and sharing Zena’s key messages with target audience groups, bringing greater awareness and exposure of Zena, our mission, and our product offerings.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Develop strategy and new pathways for sharing Zena’s key messages
2. Create and distribute messaging via blog posts, email newsletters & social media
3. Organize tours and events both onsite and offsite
4. Coordinate, and curate photography and video assets
5. Identify and work with Influencers to help promote Zena’s brand
6. Coordinate PR outreach in Zena’s key audience sectors

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Prior experience in the Architecture, Design, Construction or Flooring industries is strongly preferred
2. Educational background in Marketing or similar field
3. 3 years work experience in Marketing or similar field
4. PR experience strongly preferred
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong writing & communication skills
7. Strong graphic design skills

Compensation & Benefits:

1. $27 - $31/hour depending on experience
2. PTO (2-4 weeks based on tenure)
3. Retirement contribution

The work environment is in a large and comfortable shared office located in our beautiful rural forested mill setting. Amenities are a bit rustic, but the location is fantastic.
