The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Data Analytics to join our growing team and play a key role in our data-driven strategy. As the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance our products and services. You will lead a talented team responsible for designing and implementing analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and support our business objectives. Your expertise will guide the development of robust data pipelines, advanced analytics models, and innovative reporting systems, ensuring that our analytics capabilities scale with our rapid growth.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to identify key business opportunities and challenges. By translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, you will help shape the strategic direction of ZenBusiness. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data excellence, enabling us to deliver exceptional value to our customers and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.

You will also champion the use of advanced analytics techniques and tools, ensuring that ZenBusiness remains at the cutting edge of data technology. Your strategic vision and technical acumen will drive the innovation and optimization of our analytics platforms, ensuring that they support our business growth and operational efficiency.

This role reports to the VP, Data and is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of analytics engineers and analysts, guiding their professional development and ensuring their work aligns with company goals.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytics platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations, to integrate analytics solutions into business processes and decision-making.
  • Data Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that supports business objectives and drives competitive advantage.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize analytics systems and processes to improve data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Innovation: Apply AI to Analytics and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics and data science, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; holding a Master’s degree is a bonus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role within analytics, with a track record of successfully leading teams with great empathy and delivering complex analytics solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
  • Ability to develop and execute data strategies aligned with business goals, leveraging data as a competitive advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.
  • A keen eye for analytical detail and adept problem-solving.
  • A talent for data visualization and articulate reporting.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities complemented by excellent organizational skills.
  • A knack for flourishing in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

  • macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus!
