What You Will Do:
As a Solar Energy Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to make solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners. Your primary focus will be generating leads, engaging with potential customers, and guiding them through every step of the sales process. You'll leverage your passion for sustainability to help homeowners transition to clean, renewable energy and contribute to our growth as an industry leader. Located in Wilmington, DE, we foster an innovative, dynamic work environment, with the flexibility of working from the office twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Lead generation: Seek out new opportunities to bring Zenergy Solar’s exceptional services to homeowners in Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
- · Customer communication: Build trust with potential clients by providing expert guidance throughout their solar journey.
- · Sales process: Support customers in making informed decisions by offering tailored solar solutions that meet their energy needs.
- · Problem-solving: Tackle challenges with creative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project implementation.
What We’re Looking For:
- · Solar Industry Knowledge: While prior experience in the solar industry is preferred, we are looking for candidates with a passion for renewable energy and a drive to learn.
- · Lead Generation Skills: Experience generating leads, managing prospects, and building relationships will be key to your success.
- · Customer Service Excellence: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. You should be able to engage with a variety of customers and explain complex concepts in simple, relatable terms.
- · Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to think on your feet and provide solutions that meet both customer needs and business goals.
- · Self-Motivated & Collaborative: You thrive independently but also work well in a team-oriented environment.
- · Experience in Renewable Energy or Sales: A background in renewable energy or sales is a plus but not required.
- · Education: A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field would be an added advantage.
