ZeniMax Media is seeking a dynamic Senior IT Manager to lead and drive IT operations and initiatives at our Rockville campus. Responsibilities
- Lead, Grow, and Develop an IT Team : Build, lead, and mentor a diverse, high-performing IT team. Focus on team development by providing coaching, identifying individual growth opportunities, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Ensure the team has the skills and support to meet current and future business challenges.
- Manage IT Infrastructure and Equipment : Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all local and cloud IT infrastructure and hardware, ensuring smooth operations in a hybrid environment that is increasingly moving toward cloud-based solutions. This includes managing servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices. Ensure the organization's IT assets are optimized for performance, security, and scalability while minimizing downtime and disruptions to business operations.
- Lead Support Operations for Developer Infrastructure : Provide engineering and operational leadership for select build and source control workloads delegated by our studio partners. Focus on delivering value to the studios within the hybrid infrastructure environment. Collaborate closely with both local and central teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration across the full technology stack.
- Studio / Development Relationship and Strategy : Collaborate with development teams and other business units to develop a technology roadmap aligned with their vision and long-term goals. Identify and implement opportunities for technological innovation that streamline development workflows, reduce downtime, and lower costs. Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for IT-related projects and initiatives.
- Develop IT Strategy with Focus on Innovation and Automation : Create and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with business objectives, leveraging innovative technologies and automation solutions to drive efficiency and scalability. Continuously evaluate emerging trends and implement cutting-edge solutions to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and optimize IT operations for future growth.
- Budget Handling and Project Management : Provide strategic guidance and advice on budget allocation for studios and other departments, influencing resource decisions to optimize cost-effectiveness and align with business objectives. Lead and oversee IT projects across multiple teams, ensuring on-time delivery within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, track progress, and address challenges.
- Collaborate on IT Security Policies and Risk Management : Partner with the IT Security team to implement and uphold security policies and procedures that protect company data, systems, and networks from threats. Take a proactive role in managing IT risks by identifying vulnerabilities, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Work collaboratively to develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, respond swiftly to security incidents, and ensure the continuity of business operations.

Salary Range
Lead Infrastructure Engineer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $215,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
