Are you ready to lead the charge in securing missioncritical systems for federal agencies Join our team as a Lead Security Architect where youll design and implement secure solutions for complex platforms and systems. As the key security advisor youll enhance system architectures address vulnerabilities and promote DevSecOps maturity for highly visible government programs.
Your Impact :
Architect Advanced Security Solutions : Develop cuttingedge security architectures for cloud and containerized environments.
Lead Vulnerability Remediation : Proactively address security vulnerabilities and ensure system compliance with federal standards.
Champion DevSecOps Practices : Guide teams in adopting mature DevSecOps approaches for continuous security.
Strengthen Cloud and Application Security : Enhance the security of web applications and hosted environments.
Collaborate Across Teams : Serve as the primary security liaison aligning solutions with future state architectures.
Primary Responsibilities :
Design and extend security architectures for complex programs (25%).
Provide security solutions for container and cloud migrations (25%).
Oversee security vulnerability remediation and requests (15%).
Offer security recommendations for hosted applications and platforms (15%).
Develop contractual deliverables in line with federal agency templates (10%).
Deliver impact assessments and resource estimates (5%).
Drive advanced DevSecOps practices across programs (5%).
Required Skills & Experience :
8 years developing security architecture for large complex programs.
8 years leading technical teams with excellent communication skills.
5 years designing security for cloud and containerized applications.
Expertise in AWS GovCloud microservices security and Spring Boot architectures.
Strong background in Linux configuration management tools (e.g. Git) and securing hosted applications.
Proven track record in developing (V)ROM estimates and implementing DevSecOps practices.
CISSP Certification and Active MBI Clearance required.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with monitoring solutions relational databases Agile methodologies and CMMI Level 3 processes.
Familiarity with Azure Google Cloud for government WebMethods API Gateways Kafka and Ping Identity.
ACTIVE MBI CLEARANCE REQUIRED (MINIMUM BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION CLEARANCE)
Preferred Skills :
Experience developing monitoring requirements and solutions relational database technologies CMMI Level 3 Agile Lean methodologies.
Familiarity with Azure and Google Cloud solutions for government WebMethods ESB API Gateways Event Driven Architecture Kafka and Ping Identity.
