Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned telecom professional to assume the role of Chief Carrier Relations Strategist. This pivotal position involves establishing and nurturing relationships with carriers and vendors, driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Forge and maintain strong business relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), IP Transit vendors, and Data Centre Operators.
- Identify and capitalize on sourcing opportunities for data center, network services, and partnerships to meet network expansion requirements and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the Network Leadership Team to develop and deliver a comprehensive strategy aligned with company goals.
- Oversee network services procurement and ecosystem investment, ensuring efficient management of network operating costs.
- Design and implement effective procurement strategies for major networking equipment and accessories in conjunction with internal business units.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly P&L management reports.
- Expand vendor channels for different networking equipment and accessories through due diligence and cost negotiation.
- Recognize and resolve operational process issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Travel to visit vendors as needed.
- Perform other tasks deemed appropriate by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.
- Background in procurement, network interconnection strategy, network planning, or internet peering in telecom, data center, AI, or cloud industries.
- Degree graduate in business administration or related field.
- At least 8 years of related working experience in similar roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent computer skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
