Position Overview: The Department of State is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst/Technical Writer I (Junior) with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrate a keen eye for detail, and exhibit strong organizational skills. The candidate should have a proven track record of collaborating effectively within a team, managing competing priorities, and adapting to evolving project requirements. Clearance Requirement: Candidates must hold a minimum Interim Secret clearance and be able to secure and maintain a Secret clearance

Work Schedule (Onsite): Five (5) days a week onsite at the customer’s facility

- Review, draft and/or edit content such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Memorandum of Agreements (MOA), Online help articles, training material, meeting notes and requirements documentation
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and documentation
- Produce quality content with prompt delivery of all task and contractual deliverables associated with product development
- Assist in meeting facilitation, including contributing to discussion and taking meeting notes
- Present information in a concise and logical way for reader comprehension
- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions
- Meet with subject-matter experts to collect and synthesize information, prepare written text and produce technical content that enhances the user experience
- Collaborate with members of the product team to decompose large epics into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team
- Help facilitate planning sessions with clients and team members to ensure that planned work is well-defined, planned, articulated, and understood
- Analyze complex and technical information required for product development.
- Lead or assist with requirements gathering sessions to produce accurate user-facing documentation
- Maintain and organize the internal document library
- Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
