Position Overview
ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the migration and optimization of enterprise systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or an equivalent Cloud platform. This role develops and executes migration strategies, ensures minimal operational disruption, and maximizes Cloud benefits. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure architectures, implementing best practices for performance and compliance, and driving innovation through Cloud-native services, workflow automation, and continuous optimization. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval.
Clearance Requirement : Candidates must hold a minimum Interim Secret clearance and be able to secure and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment. ZenPoint can cage higher-level clearances.
Work Location : Northern Virginia
Work Schedule (On-site) : Five (5) days a week on-site at the customer’s facility
Requirements :
- Lead the transformation of enterprise systems to the Cloud, ensuring seamless migration and optimization of infrastructure on AWS or an equivalent platform
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures customized to support customer-defined systems and operational requirements
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the Cloud adoption process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and establish best practices
- Develop Cloud-based solutions for improved system performance, cost optimization, and resource efficiency, ensuring alignment with business and security goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) when architecting and deploying Cloud solutions
- Monitor and optimize Cloud system performance, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams, fostering Cloud expertise and continuous improvement
- Communicate project progress, technical challenges, and Cloud strategy to stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring timely and successful Cloud adoption
