Zentalis® Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing azenosertib (ZN-c3), a potentially first-in-class and best-in-class WEE1 inhibitor for patients with Cyclin E1 platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). Azenosertib is being evaluated as a monotherapy and in combination across multiple tumor types in clinical trials and has broad franchise potential. In clinical trials, azenosertib has been well tolerated and has demonstrated anti-tumor activity as a single agent across multiple tumor types. The Company is also leveraging its extensive experience and capabilities to translate its science to advance research on additional areas of opportunity for azenosertib outside PROC.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining, evaluating, and improving our systems, networks, and security across all locations with the guidance of senior team members and management. Providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, network infrastructure, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. This unique position allows the candidate to become actively involved with both the hardware, software, network infrastructure, cloud services and infrastructure, data center, and cybersecurity sides of information technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and support LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet systems.
• Deploy and perform administrative roles for Active Directory/AzureAD and/or hybrid environment
• Perform server backups, security management, and maintaining system documentation.
• Maintain network documentation
• Implement, manage, and maintain server and network related projects.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software or other network and system problems.
• Configure and maintain network firewalls, servers, VM’s, routers, VPNs, and switches.
• Manage deployment of updates, security patches, and virus protection for network devices and computers.
• Ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor log events generated by firewalls, security appliances and security applications
• Administer cloud and network infrastructure, servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smart phones, software deployment, security updates and patches. Configure/add new services, as necessary.
• Provide some technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, applications, network, software, and hardware.
• Assists with setup of new PC’s. Perform tasks, such as creation and configuration of user logon ID’s, updating user access, and termination access.
• Outstanding communication skills, enthusiasm, and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize support requirements.
• Maintain exceptional customer service by meeting or exceeding established service level agreements (SLA’s). Documents updates and completion information in Zentalis’ help desk system.
• Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or relevant field
• 5 years network and support experience. Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience with computer network, network administration, and network installation.
• Proficient with site-to-site VPN, firewall, windows server, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud infrastructure..
• Proficient with SSO configuration, specifically with SaaS applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Defender.
• Network design and implementation.
• Problem solving, strategic planning, multi-tasking, quality focus.
• Strong technical knowledge and abilities.
• Experience in network and IT equipment evaluation/test/repair, and technical troubleshooting and corrective maintenance development.
• Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
• Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing skills
• MCSE, CISSP, or CCNP certification a plus.
• Familiar with PKI and application control.
• Flexible working hours.
• Some lightweight lifting of 50 lbs.
