Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The
Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of invoices and
credit card expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor AP mailbox and promptly respond to vendor and employee questions
- Accurately and timely record vendor invoices
- Record and reconcile credit card transactions
- Process payments by check
- Reconcile vendor statements/systems to accounts payable
- Ensure company policies and process related to accounts payable are followed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or prior experience in Accounts Payable preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Skilled with use of computers and office equipment (adding machine, fax, copier, scanner, etc.)
- Detail oriented, organized, innovative and resourceful.
- Possesses analytical and auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile accounts.
