Summary  of  Responsibilities :

Join our team at DECA Consulting as a skilled Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator, where your organizational expertise will play a key role in supporting our dynamic team. In this multifaceted role, you will ensure smooth financial operations by managing QuickBooks Online, processing invoices, overseeing accounts, and handling payroll with precision and accuracy. Additionally, you’ll provide essential administrative support by maintaining records, coordinating travel arrangements, and collaborating with our office manager and accountant to ensure everything runs efficiently. Essential  Functions

Bookkeeping Responsibilities :

  • Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable processes efficiently.
  • Prepare and send client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax obligations, including filing necessary forms.
  • Collaborate with the accountant to assist in preparing tax returns and financial summaries.
  • Create and analyze financial statements and periodic reports.

Administrative Responsibilities :

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical company records.
  • Coordinate office services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Arrange travel bookings for conferences, business meetings, and employee needs.
  • Assist in maintaining office organization, including scheduling and resource management.
  • Education,  Experience,  and  Skills  Required

  • 5 years of solid bookkeeping experience.
  • 2 years of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Online.
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in office software (MS Suite, Zoom) and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Compensation

  • Salary : $40,000 - $48,000 per year
  • Full time but flexible position (30-40 hours per week)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid Vacation – 10 days annually.
  • Paid Personal / Sick Time - 5 days annually.
  • 10 paid holidays.
  • 401K (with 3% matching).
