Responsibilities:

As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our Services division, you will be primarily responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies.

Essential Functions:

· Accurately prepare orders and outbound load trucks, in accordance with customer requirements.

· Manage compliance of loads and ensure safety rules are followed.

· Effectively communicate with vendors and customers.

• Follow up and track lead-times and on time performance of vendors.
• Research and assist in resolving customer and vendor issues.
• Prepare all the required shipping documents and schedule deliveries.
• Accurately maintain paperwork on all inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Appropriately stock supplies and materials and participate in inventory counts.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow quality service, positive standards and comply with company processes, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Operating machinery including overhead cranes and forklifts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good organizational skills.
• Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Be an advocate of management procedures, policies, goals and vision for the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and the public.
• When wearing company uniforms, dress properly in the shop, and out in public.
• Always exercise safety precautions.
• Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgement and analytical skills.
• Ability to comply with appropriate task deadlines.
• Work independently and as a team member as required.
• Available to work extended hours.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in distribution and/or inventory control.
• Experience in operating overhead cranes, forklifts and rigging.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or inventory management preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
