We are seeking a Paralegal for our client's Los Angeles office to provide support to real estate attorneys on legal matters from commencement to resolution.
Duties
- Participate in all aspects of title, survey, zoning and ancillary diligence matters.
- Facilitate real estate acquisition, disposition and financing closings.
- Order and review UCC lien searches and handle financing statement filings.
- Assist attorneys in the drafting, reviewing and proofing of various closing documents for sales, loans, exchanges, and other real estate matters.
- Prepare post-transaction closing binders.
- Prepare corporate / company and partnership organizational documents and implement requisite state filings and obtain requisite secretary of state certificates.
- Prepare lease documents, transfer documents and general corporate documents.
- Work directly with attorneys and clients in connection with the foregoing.
- Other duties as assigned.
