As we continue to build and grow our start-up, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Practice Area Lead to shape, manage, and expand our product and service offerings.
Position Summary
The Practice Area Lead is responsible for the overall growth, strategy, and execution of the consulting practice. This role combines practice development, client delivery, business development, and people leadership. You will serve as a senior leader in the firm, working closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure our offerings remain innovative, competitive, and impactful.
As the Practice Area Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of a core practice area. You will combine strategic advisory, transformation consulting, and product development collaboration to deliver high-impact outcomes for clients. Your work will also influence the evolution of Zero Fog’s technical platform, Rejoyce.AI, ensuring that our execution intelligence systems align closely with the specific needs of clients in your practice area.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a seasoned consulting professional passionate about building high-performing teams, scaling new service offerings, and delivering measurable impact to clients at the executive level. It requires deep expertise in strategic execution and consulting, as well as a keen ability to define business and technical requirements for Zero Fog and Rejoyce.AI tools, especially the Strategic Execution Intelligence (SEI) report and related functionalities/business processes. You will work directly with clients to coach, guide, and lead them through transformation efforts while also contributing to the ongoing refinement of Zero Fog’s product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
🔷 Practice Strategy & Development
- Define and execute the long-term strategic direction for the Practice Area, aligning corporate and client needs with Zero Fog’s advisory services and Rejoyce.AI capabilities.
- Develop practice-specific goals, KPIs, growth plans, and business plans.
- Build, refine, and expand consulting offerings based on evolving client needs, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Own the development of intellectual capital (frameworks, methodologies, playbooks, toolkits, etc.).
- Monitor market trends, client feedback, and emerging technologies to ensure relevance and innovation.
🔷 Client Engagement, Transformation & Coaching
- Lead client engagements using strategic guidance, execution intelligence, and change-management methodologies.
- Adhere to best practices in methodology, risk management, and team alignment.
- Participate in project reviews, executive briefings, and escalation resolution.
- Coach senior leadership teams on strategy execution and how to leverage Zero Fog and Rejoyce.AI tools for enhanced decision-making.
- Ensure excellence, measurable impact, and satisfaction in client engagements.
🔷 SEI Report & Tailoring
- Customize the SEI report for each client, focusing on industry-specific KPIs, investment banker-style analysis, and management consulting methods.
- Define product requirements that align Rejoyce.AI intelligence to client context, ensuring execution impact and ROI.
🔷 Business Development & Market Expansion
- Drive revenue growth through identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain C-suite relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, account planning, and positioning.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, speaking engagements, and networking events.
- Create proposals and pitches that clearly communicate value and differentiation.
- Collaborate on sales pipeline development and reporting of BD performance metrics.
🔷 Thought Leadership
- Contribute to Zero Fog’s thought leadership through articles, whitepapers, and speaking engagements.
- Promote our unique value proposition in execution intelligence and AI application in business performance.
🔷 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to shape the Zero Fog and Rejoyce.AI roadmaps based on client needs.
- Define technical and functional requirements for new features to support the practice area.
🔷 Leadership, Culture & Talent Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop consultants, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Foster a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture emphasizing learning, impact, and inclusion.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to support career growth.
- Collaborate with other firm leaders to promote cross-functional offerings.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 7 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation consulting.
- 1 year leading a practice or service line.
- Proven track record with C-suite clients and revenue growth in consulting environments.
- Industry experience in healthcare, private equity, insurance, financial services, or consulting
Corporate, Strategic & Product Expertise:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple initiatives.
- Ability to link business goals to performance metrics and financial outcomes.
- Skilled at solving complex business problems and defining technical product requirements.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
