What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Program Manager position at Zero Point, Inc?
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for supporting the research, development and acquisition of several programs including CREW, JEOD, UWEOD, ExMed, ATA and other future programs that are assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with the Program Manager on all program and business activities
- Manage day-to-day execution and collaborate across the leadership team to execute objectives
- Partner with the Program Manager to identify opportunities and mitigate risk to create sustainable program growth
- Assist in the development and implementation of program plans, schedules, budgets and performance standards
- Monitor and report on program progress and identify and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and contract requirements
- Responsible for the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the agency’s needs
- Responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree or 10 years of demonstrated engineering or program management experience with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
- 6 yearsw of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD Program Management Office, Program Executive Office, or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
