General Purpose

Zerorez’s growth depends on our ability to establish and grow a robust Air Duct business. Because air duct cleanings tend to be significant in price and less frequent, the ability to continuously dazzle each client so that they refer others and find other ways to attract new customers is essential. Additionally, delighted air duct customers create additional opportunities for other services.


General Overview

The role of the Duct Operations Manager is crucial in collaborating with the Air Duct Division Manager to devise a comprehensive strategy for expanding the Air Duct business. The Operations Manager spearheads the creation and growth of an operations team comprising skilled technicians and professionals who can deliver exceptional service and value to new and existing customers. The position necessitates a solid understanding of business practices and outstanding expertise in managing people and processes.


Main Job Task and Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

·      Develop and lead an operational organization dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while achieving benchmark cost efficiency.

·      Manage and oversee all aspects of technician scheduling and maintain accurate attendance logs.

·      Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Atlanta group, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives.

·      Communicate departmental activities and progress for the guidance of management.

Customer Contact Management:

·      Successfully managed customer interactions and relationships within the Air Duct Division.

Continuous Improvement and Training:

·      Oversee all initiatives related to process improvement and quality enhancement, including developing, implementing, and maintaining monthly quality work improvement goals.

·      Train and development of employees using quality tools, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality service.

·      Design and implement corrective action plans to eliminate wasteful or ineffective practices, processes, and procedures.

·      Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes to drive operational excellence.

·      Instill and nurture a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Project Performance Monitoring:

·      Document, track, and monitor project performance using metrics and key performance indicators.

o   Oversee the performance management process.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions to enhance the overall quality of completed work.

Quality Assurance:

·      Develop, implement, and maintain quality audits, corrective action, and preventive action plans to ensure compliance with established standards.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements specific to the division.

Strategic Planning:

·      Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve optimal quality, productivity, and cost savings.

HR Processes:

·      Collaborate with HR and the Division Manager to identify staffing needs.

·      Conduct regular team meetings to share updates and discuss goals.

·      Foster a positive, professional workplace culture and employee engagement.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in operations management or a related field is required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and supervisor skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting customer expectations.   
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology is preferred.
  • This is a salaried position classified as exempt. The typical working hours for this position are from 7 am to 4 pm.

Salary : $60,000 - $72,000
