This internship offers the unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of preparing for a new school year, with a focus on one key functional area. You will get the chance to work with and shadow colleagues who have experience in various careers including teaching, school administration and leadership, operations, consulting, finance, etc.

Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, you will work side-by-side with our School-Based Operations team to organize and prepare Zeta for the 2025-26 school year. You will play a hands-on role in transforming our school buildings into inspiring learning environments by:
- Supporting project management for summer building renovations, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully planned and executed.
- Helping set up and organize classrooms to create welcoming, functional spaces for students and teachers.
- Restocking and organizing storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility for the year ahead.
- Contributing to the beautification of our campuses, bringing energy and care to every corner as we prepare to welcome staff and students back to school.
- Demonstrated passion for the mission, vision, and core values of Zeta Charter Schools
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving mentality and attention to detail
- Desire to work tirelessly and collaboratively in order to ensure our schools are 100% ready for staff and students heading into the 2025-26 school year
- This will be a full-time, in-person internship in which you will report to one of our Zeta Schools, either in the Bronx or in Queens. The internship duration is 6 weeks long, from July 7, 2025 through August 15, 2025. Interns can expect to work 8 hours a day, from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
- We are accepting applications from college students for this position, with a preference for current Sophomores or Juniors.
- Compensation for this position is $16.50 an hour.
