What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foundation Fundraising Auditor position at ZETA TAU ALPHA FRATERNITY & FRATERNITY HOUSING...?
The person in this role will assist the Foundation with various responsibilities and projects essential to day-to-day operations. This includes, but is not limited to, the support of chapter fundraising, accounts payable, stakeholders, and our third-party cloud-based chapter financial management system.
The ideal candidate is looking to hone their accounting and time management skills while engaging with volunteers and collegiate officers across the country to support chapter fundraising efforts.
Excels in customer support, equipping alumnae and collegiate officers in using the Foundation fundraising tools including online giving platforms and creating donation websites.
With volunteer support, reviews chapter fundraising budgets in our cloud-based accounting software.
Audits chapter fundraising events looking at chapter budgets, spending and final event close out, ensuring that all fundraising dollars are correctly collected and funds distributed to the Foundation and giving partners.
Handles accounts payable for the Foundation so must be comfortable with basic accounting principles.
Assists with Foundation projects as assigned including preparation for annual conferences and officer trainings.
Qualifications & Key Attributes
Relevant degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Database experience preferred but not required
Customer-service oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
