Role Overview Zeus is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Billing and Collections Manager, this position will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts receivable for the company's most complex accounts. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all invoices are delivered to the customers via agreed upon method (spreadsheet, email, portal, etc.)
- Reviewing account statuses and generating age analyses
- Investigating and solving customer complaints and queries
- Ensure disputes with service or install invoices are being addressed (responsible to follow-up with service/install/sales team when needed to ensure timely resolution)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues impacting areas of accounts receivables for National Accounts
- All AR related contact with the customers assigned
- Issuing credit memos when applicable
- Performing account reconciliations and monitoring the National Account customers' account details
- Making sure invoices are paid - work with customers on payment collection when needed
- Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Making sure payments are correctly applied
- Design and keep up to date methodology for organizing all information related to invoicing and payment collection of National Accounts
- Reporting - details (customer) and summary - invoices, payments, unapplied
- Ensuring compliance with the company's procedures
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Provides consistent, professional, courteous, and high-quality customer service
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years of experience in billing and collections, or related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- ERP implementation and/or customer billing portal experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technology skills, specifically MS Excel, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
